In the early days of the electric organ, we didn’t have all the amazing orchestral sounds and great features of today’s Atelier. Organists were limited to the sounds of the nine drawbars, the 4' and 2 2/3' percussion voices, and the effects of the Leslie speaker.
It’s interesting to look back and recreate some of the unique sounds and styles made famous by legends like Jimmy Smith, Earl Grant, and Walter Wanderley.
