VIVA LAS VEGAS
Welcome to the May edition of the Atelier Newsletter. As is always the case, there’s a lot going on here at Roland, and across the country with the help of our wonderful Atelier dealers.
We have concluded all the Atelier Festival local events, and are now looking forward to our National Atelier Festival in amazing Las Vegas, Nevada. A record number of performers will be taking the stage at the Monte Carlo for a fun filled day of music and entertainment. Be sure to read all about it by clicking on the link to the left.
The downloadable registrations in this issue are contributed by Marilynne Rapp from Crown Music, who not only provided fun and creative registrations, but also included a performance example to give you some ideas how to make the most of these great settings. Thanks, Marilynne!
I’m really excited about the new “interactive” website our team has created for the AT-350C “Atelier Combo.” I gave you a sneak preview last issue, but the AT Combo has now arrived. We’ll be doing a showcase in your area, but this new website offers you the opportunity to see and hear sounds and styles of your choice in the comfort of your own home. These sounds are nothing short of amazing! You will surely want to get one of these for your second home or motor home, and what a great gift for your children or grandchildren. It’s sleek, contemporary, and surprisingly portable. (It only weighs 56 pounds.)
The Roland Music Data library is growing again, with the addition of USB support for some of Hal Leonard’s most popular EZ Play books. Visit your local Atelier dealer to learn more about USB data keys that have recently been released.
Our own Rosemary Bailey has provided some helpful “Tips & Tricks” in this issue, and is also launching an exciting new project called “Volare.” It’s a two-day “up close and personal” music workshop, designed to educate, motivate, and inspire.
Whether it’s old school drawbars, theatre organ, Dixieland, or full scale orchestration, Rosemary shares her wealth of knowledge to help you sound your best regardless of playing level. Attendees have raved about the musical knowledge they gained, as well as the insights into thinking creatively and orchestrally as they put together arrangements. This event is guaranteed to “turbo-charge” your excitement and enjoyment of this great hobby!
Check with your local dealer for information on the date and location of a Volare event in your area.
Thanks for joining us for this issue of the Atelier newsletter. We appreciate your choice of a Roland instrument, and we hope to see you at the National Atelier Festival event in Las Vegas or at a Roland Atelier event near you.
Musically yours,
–Rick Morales
