HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Welcome to the first Atelier® Newsletter of 2010. We hope you had a wonderful holiday season filled with family, music and joy.

Here at Roland®, the year is starting off at a frenzied pace as we prepare for the many events scheduled for the first quarter of 2010. Not only do we have concerts and workshops scheduled at dealers across the country, but we kick off the year in a big way at the NAMM Show. This is an industry trade show for the International Music Products Association, and also happens to be the largest convention held at the Anaheim Convention Center each year. Can you guess who the largest exhibitor might be? OK… so that was an easy one. With an exhibit of over 10,000 square feet, you can imagine the preparation that goes into our display. While this event isn’t open to the public, I thought it might be fun to give you an insider’s look at the Roland display. Click here to check out some photos of our “booth.” This year, I hear rumors that there might be some exciting new offerings in the world of Atelier! Hmmm… what could it be? Did someone say “Artist Edition”?

High on the list of excitement are the Atelier Fest regional events in Orlando and Las Vegas, then on to the National Finals in Los Angeles. You probably know that the contestants won expense-paid trips to these events, but did you know you are also invited to attend? We encourage you to join us at any or all of these events to support your friends and/or local dealer… or just to listen to some great music and have a wonderful time. All the events are held in cities that allow you to plan a fun vacation around the event, so why not join us?
