Chris Halon was born in Connecticut and started playing the piano at two years of age. He started playing the organ at age four, and began studying private music lessons at age eight. During high school, Chris also played the trombone, drums and bass guitar. He has garnered numerous honors and recognition including:
Chris taught private music lessons for 14 years, worked in and managed retail piano and organ stores and was the Musical Director for the local community college’s theater program. He graduated with “honors” from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma , WA with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Composition and Theory.
Chris has worked in the music industry since 1992 as a National Touring Concert Artist, and Marketing and Product Development Manager.
Chris joined the Roland Corporation in 2004 and currently serves as Market Development Manager for the Contemporary Keyboards Division of Roland. Some of his responsibilities include: Marketing of new products, new product development, software development, sales training, and consumer concerts and workshops.
