Bill Ryder has been a keyboard musician since the age of nine when he began studying the accordion and organ in his hometown of Philadelphia, PA. He turned “pro” in 1973 performing in some of the most popular restaurants and nightclubs in the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey areas.
Since 1979, Bill has enjoyed a successful career in the piano and organ industry as a performing artist, product specialist and manufacturers’ representative. He toured throughout the United States and in seven countries as a concert artist. In 1982, he performed in the main amphitheater at the Knoxville World’s Fair.
He is comfortable playing a concert or dance music. However, he especially enjoys playing theater organ style and developing orchestral arrangements. His programs always include a variety of music from Bach to Big Band designed to please everyone.
Bill is organist and choir director at his church in Lancaster, PA where he resides with his wife Mary Jane and their 3 children.
